The name Plata.forma, in Spanish, honors analog photography, very present in our personal and professional work. The silver (plata), or rather the silver salts or halides, are responsible for trapping the light that will form the future image on the photographic film, latent until it is revealed. This magical-chemical process fascinates many photographers and today it is experiencing a revival after being close to extinction with the arrival of digital photography. ​

 

We are a small team of photographers and videographers who have worked together since the birth of Plata.forma, we met working or studying in the world of photography and video and since then we have continued to work or collaborate together to achieve quality photography and although we still have a long way to go and we are proud of what we have already achieved.
